Correlation of Wi-Fi coverage density with local dethaumization: a panel study of 214 stations

Using panel data from the IIMBM network for 2003–2023, a robust negative association is found between the density of wireless access points and the local background (−0.47 µTh per 100 access points/km², p < 0.001). The effect persists after controlling for urbanization and ley-line shielding. A possible mechanism of resonant displacement of charm modes in the 2.4 GHz band is discussed.
Residual charm activity in the old-growth forests of the Carpathians: a field study

Across three field seasons on the Gorgany ridge, background values of up to 41.3 µTh were recorded — the highest for continental Europe. The exceedance over the regional normal is shown to be localized in stands older than 180 years and is not statistically explained by the relief factor. The site is recommended for inclusion in the register of charm refugia, category I.
The skeptical observer effect: a quantitative estimate from census data

An aggregate skepticism index (ASI) is proposed, constructed from indirect indicators of censuses and social surveys in 41 countries. An increase of one standard deviation in the ASI is associated with a decrease of the local background by 2.1 ± 0.6 µTh. Causal interpretation is limited by the impossibility of randomizing incredulity.
The THAUM-RA5 reanalysis: assimilation of TALOS-2 orbital data into the global background model

The fifth generation of the global magical background reanalysis is presented, with a horizontal resolution of 0.5° and a 6-hour assimilation step. Inclusion of TALOS-2 limb scans reduced the RMS error of background reconstruction over the oceans by 34 %. The series is available to States Parties via the THAUMEX portal.
Dendrothaumatology: reconstructing the 18th–19th century background from rings of the pedunculate oak

A transfer function between latewood width and mean summer background is calibrated on the overlap with the instrumental period (1921–2010, r = 0.79). The reconstruction confirms the dating of the background peak to the mid-1850s and refines its amplitude. Limitations of the method in areas of intensive forestry are discussed.
Urban shielding of ley lines: an attenuation model for reinforced concrete structures

Laboratory measurements on a reference ley-line segment show that the charm attenuation coefficient of reinforced concrete grows nonlinearly with the share of reinforcement and saturates at 2.3 %. An engineering formula for estimating the shielding contribution of development is proposed and has been incorporated into the Institute's urban-planning recommendations.
The seasonal cycle of the global background: the role of the holiday surge in children's trust

A stable seasonal harmonic with a maximum in late December (amplitude 0.8–1.2 µTh) is identified in the homogenized series of 178 stations. Phase analysis links it to the synchronized school holiday periods in the Northern Hemisphere. The holiday surge of children's trust hypothesis is preferred by the Akaike information criterion.
Metrological assurance of the IIMBM network: fifty years of the BET-3 standard

Half a century of comparisons of the travelling Bern etalon thaum with national standards is summarized. The long-term drift of BET-3 does not exceed 0.004 % per decade, confirming the standard's suitability for monitoring the secular trend. Recommendations are given for transport under conditions of elevated skeptical pressure.
Depletion of the relic charm field: cosmological constraints from high-altitude sounding data

Vertical background profiles from the 12 permanently deployed probes show a monotonic increase with altitude, consistent with the hypothesis of an external (relic) source. The decay constant of the relic component is estimated at 0.011 ± 0.004 per century. The result does not allow a purely anthropogenic explanation of the secular trend to be rejected.
On the non-reproducibility of household miracles under laboratory conditions: a systematic review

312 verification protocols of reported household miracles for 1990–2016 are analysed; not a single case was reproduced under instrumental control. The frequency of reports is shown not to correlate with the local background, but to be significantly associated with the media agenda. Retention of verification protocol VP-9 without amendment is recommended.
